Valve cover

A valve is a control component in fluid transport systems, capable of functions such as shutting off flow, regulating flow rate, diverting flow, preventing backflow, maintaining constant pressure, splitting flow, or relieving excess pressure by overflow. What is a valve bonnet?

Valve body

A “valve” is defined as a device used in fluid systems to control the direction, pressure, and flow rate of fluids. Valves are devices that enable the flow or stoppage of media (liquids, gases, powders) within piping and equipment, and also allow their flow rates to be regulated.

Valve stem

During the opening and closing of a valve, the valve stem is not only a moving part and a load-bearing component but also a sealing element. At the same time, it is subjected to impact and corrosion from the medium and experiences friction with the packing material. Therefore, when selecting the material for the valve stem, it is essential to ensure that it possesses sufficient strength, good impact toughness, resistance to abrasion, and corrosion resistance at the specified temperature. As the valve stem is a wear-prone component, attention should also be paid to its machinability and heat-treatment properties when making a selection.
